DecisionPoint is seeking experienced Future Operations Planning Personnel. This is a planning-focused position where personnel will assist Cyberspace Protection Teams (CPTs) with scheduling and planning upcoming missions. The primary responsibility is to serve as the link between the Numbered Air Force/Cyber Command tasking offices and the CPT squadrons, ensuring missions are assigned to teams with the appropriate readiness levels based on training, personnel staffing, dwell time requirements, and other readiness factors. Personnel will also assist CPTs in addressing readiness deficiencies to help them achieve the required readiness level for future mission taskings.
The positions will be at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA-Lackland) in San Antonio, Texas.
Coordinate with the Force Readiness personnel to conduct detailed force-to-mission capability analyses.
Draft data-driven recommendations for suitable Cyber Protection Team (CPT) alignments based on the approved Course of Action (COA) for government consideration.
Conduct preliminary reviews of nominated missions against established checklists to verify feasibility, scope, and required authorities.
Draft Requests for Information (RFIs) for government review and submission to higher headquarters to address identified deficiencies. Also provide supplemental intelligence research and preliminary analysis of provided mission data to build out the operational environment picture.
Draft intelligence-related RFIs to support government validation efforts.
Personnel will also assist government planners in liaising with designated mission partners to define and scope operational terrain, mission boundaries, and technical details as well as facilitate the refinement of objectives to support a shared understanding of the desired end state.

Degree and Years of Experience:
• Two (2) or more years’ experience related to Cyber Protection Team (CPT) operations
Required Skills:
• Proven ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Proven ability to manage their schedule, meet deadlines, schedule meetings, etc.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
• Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
• Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Knowledge of cloud computing deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environment and the difference between on-premises and off-premises environments.
Preferred Skills/ Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience scheduling and planning CPT missions
• Previous experience in the 16th Air Force related to CPT mission scheduling
• Completion of Planner courses such as the Joint Cyber Operations Planners Course (JCOPC)
