Overview

DecisionPoint seeks a Digital Strategies Lead to serve as the senior leader overseeing enterprise digital operations in support of a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role manages the end-to-end digital ecosystem across user experience research, UI updates, content workflow management, social coordination, reporting cycles, digital publishing processes, and cross-platform governance. 

The Digital Strategies Lead serves as the primary operational integrator for daily digital activities—ensuring processes are synchronized across UX, content, design, development, and communications teams. This position drives alignment, quality assurance, operational efficiency, and digital optimization across products and platforms, ensuring that all digital services meet mission needs, brand standards, and accessibility requirements. 

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Digital Strategies Lead will: 

  • Manage the full execution of C.5.2.5 digital operations, including UX research, UI updates, content workflows, and platform enhancement coordination. 
  • Oversee daily digital operations across content publishing, metadata tagging, formatting, accessibility checks, versioning, and quality assurance. 
  • Coordinate social media integration and digital channel alignment across internal and external platforms. 
  • Manage digital calendars, publishing pipelines, editorial workflow processes, and platform readiness. 
  • Lead digital governance efforts across templates, design standards, tone, accessibility compliance, and metadata rules. 
  • Collaborate with UX researchers to translate findings into actionable UI enhancements and digital experience improvements. 
  • Provide strategic leadership for digital reporting cycles, analytics interpretation, and insights generation. 
  • Oversee digital intake processes, prioritization workflows, and resource planning across digital teams. 
  • Ensure all digital processes and outputs comply with federal, DoD, accessibility, and brand requirements. 
  • Support cross-functional alignment with IT, cybersecurity, PMO, outreach, and communications teams. 
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for digital operations, workflows, tools, and content quality. 
  • Create executive briefings and reporting packages summarizing digital performance, trend analysis, and operational insights. 

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Must hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation. 

 

Education (Required) 

BA/BS in Digital Strategy, Communications, Marketing, Information Science, or a related field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading digital strategy, digital operations, UX/website governance, or enterprise digital communications. 
  • Experience managing cross-functional digital teams and coordinating high-volume digital workflows. 
  • Experience overseeing website operations, editorial processes, or digital transformation initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated success delivering digital performance improvements based on UX, analytics, and operational insights. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Deep understanding of UX research methods, usability testing, and human-centered design principles. 
  • Knowledge of UI standards, web formatting, metadata tagging, accessibility (508/WCAG), and content publishing workflows. 
  • Familiarity with CMS operations, digital editorial processes, and version control. 
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Power BI, or equivalent) and report generation. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience working in federal or DoD digital environments. 
  • Understanding of digital intake systems, workflow automation tools, or content operations platforms. 
  • Familiarity with Agile processes for managing digital enhancements.
