Overview

DecisionPoint seeks a Third-Party Platform Strategist to lead MC&FP’s Third-Party Platform Support program. This senior-level role oversees the evaluation, monitoring, and prioritization of external platforms where MC&FP content, data, or engagement occurs. The strategist ensures third-party platform activities align with enterprise outreach goals, operational requirements, and risk management frameworks. 

This role owns the Quarterly Third-Party Platform Report, coordinates decision-making across Task 2 and Task 3 teams, and collaborates with cybersecurity, analytics, outreach, and content teams to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and strengthen enterprise posture across partner and community platforms. 

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Third-Party Platform Strategist will: 

  • Lead the enterprise Third-Party Platform Support program, including evaluation, prioritization, and oversight of platforms that engage MC&FP audiences. 
  • Manage platform assessments that review risk, compliance, data use, user impact, and content requirements. 
  • Own development and publication of the Quarterly Third-Party Platform Report, incorporating technical, operational, outreach, and policy considerations. 
  • Coordinate platform governance decisions with Task 2 (Outreach & Engagement) and Task 3 (IT, Cyber, Data) teams. 
  • Identify emerging platforms, technology shifts, and new opportunities to expand MC&FP’s digital reach. 
  • Establish platform criteria, scoring models, and evaluation methodologies. 
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities or risks associated with platform usage. 
  • Work with outreach teams to ensure platform strategies align with MC&FP’s engagement, branding, and messaging goals. 
  • Support content and creative teams with best practices for publishing, moderation, and content optimization on third-party platforms. 
  • Conduct trend analysis, competitive benchmarking, and audience impact assessments. 
  • Track platform policy changes and develop guidance on implications for MC&FP operations. 
  • Maintain documentation, standards, and governance processes related to third-party platform usage. 

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. 

 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Strategy, Communications, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in digital strategy, platform analysis, marketing ecosystems, or related areas. 
  • Experience evaluating third-party platforms and managing enterprise platform governance frameworks. 
  • Experience supporting outreach, communications, or technology programs in complex environments. 
  • Experience producing analytics reports and strategic recommendations for leadership. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Strong understanding of digital platform ecosystems, third-party APIs, risk factors, and content moderation considerations. 
  • Experience with platform evaluation, decision frameworks, and digital engagement models. 
  • Familiarity with analytics dashboards, social intelligence tools, and user behavior insights. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience with federal or DoD digital outreach environments. 
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance considerations for external platforms. 

 

Skills 

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-support skills. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to translate complex platform and policy issues into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Exceptional report-writing and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple platform evaluations and shifting priorities simultaneously.
