Overview

DecisionPoint seeks a Campaign Coordinator to support the daily execution of MC&FP’s digital and social media activities. This junior-level role focuses on hands-on campaign operations including content scheduling, posting, tagging, audience interaction, and live event support. The Campaign Coordinator helps ensure cohesive, timely, and compliant content delivery across multiple digital channels. 

This position works closely with campaign managers, creatives, content strategists, and analytics teams to support cross-platform engagement and maintain alignment with MC&FP mission priorities. 

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Campaign Coordinator will: 

  • Schedule, publish, and maintain daily posts across social media platforms. 
  • Support comment monitoring, triage, and escalation according to established guidelines. 
  • Tag content using approved metadata, keywords, and taxonomy structures. 
  • Assist in live event coverage including real-time posting, content capture, and audience engagement. 
  • Prepare posts for Reels, Stories, and Shorts under direction from campaign managers. 
  • Maintain editorial calendars and coordinate with content and creative teams to ensure timely delivery. 
  • Ensure all content follows branding, accessibility, and governance standards. 
  • Track basic engagement metrics and provide summary updates to campaign managers. 
  • Support campaign asset organization and documentation. 
  • Assist with drafting simple social copy or content variations as assigned. 

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. 

 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Integrated Media, Advertising, or a related field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting digital, social media, or campaign operations. 
  • Experience posting, scheduling, and maintaining content across major social media platforms. 
  • Experience coordinating with creative or communications teams. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Familiarity with social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout). 
  • Understanding of tagging, metadata entry, and content categorization. 
  • Ability to triage user comments and maintain appropriate tone and brand voice. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience supporting live social activations or digital events. 
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidance, branding standards, or social governance. 

 

Skills 

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities. 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in fast-paced environments. 
  • Detail-oriented approach to scheduling, tagging, and documenting content. 
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to follow direction and support senior campaign staff.
