Overview

DecisionPoint seeks a Subscription Administrator to manage GovDelivery subscription automations, audience groups, segmentation rules, and subscriber management modules for a high-visibility federal and DoD-aligned communications environment. This role ensures subscriber data integrity, accurate audience targeting, and proper execution of subscription workflows that support enterprise-wide ePublications and digital communications. 

The Subscription Administrator collaborates with content, analytics, UX, and communications teams to maintain subscription lists, troubleshoot delivery issues, and support ongoing optimization of audience engagement. 

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Subscription Administrator will: 

  • Manage GovDelivery subscriber groups, segmentation rules, and subscription modules. 
  • Configure and maintain automated subscription workflows. 
  • Support subscriber data imports, cleansing, audit checks, and metadata updates. 
  • Monitor subscription performance and identify anomalies or delivery issues. 
  • Coordinate with communications teams to align groups with ongoing campaigns and ePublications. 
  • Maintain subscription dashboards, user profiles, and delivery preferences. 
  • Validate subscription forms, opt-in/opt-out flows, and related UI elements. 
  • Ensure all subscription processes meet federal communications and accessibility standards. 
  • Maintain documentation for subscriber workflows, data rules, and governance processes. 
  • Support analytics integration and stakeholder reporting. 

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. 

 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Marketing, Digital Communications, or a related field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital communications, marketing operations, data management, or subscriber/list administration. 
  • Experience with enterprise communications tools (GovDelivery strongly preferred). 
  • Experience performing structured data updates or maintaining digital systems. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Understanding of audience segmentation, subscription workflows, and metadata rules. 
  • Familiarity with email delivery platforms and subscriber list management. 
  • Basic understanding of accessibility and digital communications standards. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience with GovDelivery automations and audience modules. 
  • Experience performing QA checks on forms, lists, and user flows. 
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis or reporting tools. 

 

Skills 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage repetitive workflows with precision and consistency. 
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot subscription issues and document findings clearly. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive subscriber data securely and appropriately.
