Overview

DecisionPoint seeks a Stakeholder Affairs Analyst to support enterprise stakeholder engagement efforts through data-driven insights, segmentation analysis, and targeted communication recommendations. This role analyzes stakeholder behaviors, needs, and sentiment patterns to help shape strategic engagement activities across a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. 

The Stakeholder Affairs Analyst contributes to quarterly stakeholder affairs reporting, supports development of stakeholder intelligence dashboards, and provides advisory insights that enhance mission-relevant outreach and engagement strategies. 

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Stakeholder Affairs Analyst will: 

  • Conduct segmentation analysis to identify stakeholder groups, behaviors, and engagement needs. 
  • Analyze stakeholder sentiment trends, feedback channels, and behavior indicators to support strategy refinement. 
  • Use digital analytics, survey data, engagement metrics, and behavioral insights to produce actionable findings. 
  • Support quarterly stakeholder affairs reporting, including analysis, trends, visualizations, and insights. 
  • Collaborate with communications, UX, outreach, and policy teams to align analytical insights with program priorities. 
  • Maintain stakeholder datasets, taxonomies, and metadata rules to support harmonized reporting. 
  • Produce data-driven recommendations to enhance stakeholder engagement strategies. 
  • Support development of dashboards and analytic views summarizing stakeholder engagement and impact. 
  • Assist with mapping stakeholder journeys, touchpoints, and communication pathways. 
  • Ensure analysis outputs align with accessibility, accuracy, and federal communications standards.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. 

 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Behavioral Science, Communications, Sociology, Public Policy, Marketing Analytics, or a related field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting stakeholder analytics, communications analysis, or behavioral research. 
  • Experience conducting data segmentation, sentiment analysis, and stakeholder behavior analysis. 
  • Experience producing data-informed insights for communications, outreach, or stakeholder engagement teams. 
  • Experience supporting reporting cycles or strategic communications deliverables. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, GA4, social listening platforms). 
  • Knowledge of behavioral science frameworks, audience segmentation, and communications analysis. 
  • Understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods. 
  • Familiarity with metadata models, taxonomies, or content tagging structures. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience with stakeholder journey mapping and digital engagement monitoring. 
  • Familiarity with DoD or federal engagement environments. 

 

Certifications (Preferred) 

  • Analytics or research certifications 
  • ITIL v4 Foundation 
  • UX research or behavioral science certifications 

 

Skills 

  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills. 
  • Ability to translate data findings into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Strong communication and visualization abilities. 
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder support skills. 
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
