Overview

DecisionPoint seeks an Art Worker to support enterprise-wide creative and communications efforts within a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role specializes in preparing production-ready digital assets, adapting designs for various channels, and ensuring high precision in layout, formatting, graphics, and typography to maintain brand consistency and technical accuracy. 

The Art Worker collaborates closely with designers, content creators, and multimedia specialists to finalize assets for publication across web, print, social media, presentations, and digital campaigns. This position plays a critical role in polishing creative deliverables and ensuring that visual materials meet enterprise standards for quality, accessibility, and consistency. 

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Art Worker will: 

  • Prepare production-ready assets for digital and print distribution, ensuring accuracy and consistency. 
  • Adapt existing designs into multiple formats, aspect ratios, and channel requirements (web, social, print). 
  • Finalize layouts, typography, color treatments, and graphic elements to meet brand and accessibility standards. 
  • Ensure visual consistency across template-driven and campaign-based designs. 
  • Create optimized files for web use, including image compression, formatting, and responsive scaling. 
  • Support versioning, naming conventions, and organized file management within enterprise repositories. 
  • Collaborate with designers, UX/UI teams, and multimedia producers to refine visuals and enhance usability. 
  • Apply meticulous quality checks for spacing, alignment, fonts, and color accuracy. 
  • Prepare print-ready files, ensuring proper bleeds, resolution, and color profiles. 
  • Support high-volume production cycles for campaigns, templates, and digital asset libraries. 

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. 

 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Arts, or a related creative field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience preparing production-ready graphics or digital assets. 
  • Experience adapting design files across multiple media types (web, print, social, presentations). 
  • Experience maintaining visual quality standards and applying brand guidelines. 
  • Experience using digital asset management workflows or design system libraries. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 
  • Strong understanding of layout precision, typography standards, and color management. 
  • Ability to prepare files for print production and digital distribution. 
  • Familiarity with accessibility principles (508/WCAG) for visual materials. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience with motion graphics, light animation, or video formatting. 
  • Working knowledge of Figma or Sketch. 
  • Experience within a federal, DoD, or large enterprise environment. 

 

Skills 

  • Strong attention to visual detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to manage multiple design production tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent collaboration skills when working with designers, writers, and multimedia specialists. 
  • Strong organizational skills for file versioning and asset management. 
  • Ability to apply creative direction consistently across multiple formats.
