Overview

DecisionPoint seeks Media Buyers to plan, negotiate, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across digital platforms supporting a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. These positions manage full-lifecycle digital media efforts, including audience targeting, channel selection, competitive analysis, cost optimization, ad placement, and performance reporting. 

Media Buyers support outreach efforts by designing and managing campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, military community networks, and programmatic ad exchanges to maximize reach, engagement, and mission impact. 

These positions are fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Media Buyer will: 

  • Plan, launch, and manage digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, military networks, and programmatic exchanges). 
  • Develop audience targeting strategies using demographic, behavioral, and psychographic data. 
  • Manage budgets, pacing, optimizations, and cost-efficiency for paid media campaigns. 
  • Negotiate media placements, rates, and flighting schedules with vendors and platforms. 
  • Monitor performance metrics including impressions, click-through rates, conversions, and cost-per-outcome. 
  • Conduct A/B tests, creative performance analysis, and optimization cycles. 
  • Produce campaign performance reports, insights, and strategic recommendations. 
  • Collaborate with communications, creative, data analytics, and outreach teams to align paid media efforts with broader engagement strategies. 
  • Ensure all advertisements comply with platform policies, federal guidelines, and accessibility requirements. 
  • Support integration of media campaign data into dashboards and reporting systems. 
  • Track market and platform trends to identify new opportunities for impact. 

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. 

 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital media buying or paid media campaign management. 
  • Experience running campaigns across Google, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, or programmatic exchanges. 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data and optimize for cost-efficiency and performance. 
  • Experience developing reports and insights for leadership or stakeholders. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Proficiency with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager). 
  • Understanding of digital metrics, analytics, attribution models, and conversion tracking. 
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, retargeting, custom audiences, and optimization strategies. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience with military audience targeting or federal communication campaigns. 
  • Familiarity with DSPs, programmatic bidding, and advanced targeting tools. 
  • Experience with analytics dashboards such as Power BI, Google Analytics, or Tableau. 

 

Certifications (Preferred) 

  • Google Ads Certification 
  • Meta Blueprint Certification 
  • LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Certification 
  • ITIL v4 Foundation 

 

Skills 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. 
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
