Overview

DecisionPoint seeks Quality Specialists to manage program documentation, deliverable quality, and reporting alignment across a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. These roles maintain the program deliverables matrix, ensure cross-task consistency, support MTAR documentation workflows, and uphold PMO quality standards. 

The Quality Specialists work closely with the PMO, schedulers, content owners, technical teams, and governance stakeholders to ensure that all program deliverables meet contractual, formatting, accessibility, and quality requirements. 

These positions are fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Quality Specialist will: 

  • Maintain the program-wide deliverables matrix and update tracking in alignment with PMO requirements. 
  • Ensure documentation and reporting consistency across Task 1, Task 2, and Task 3 deliverables. 
  • Maintain MTAR documentation, templates, workflows, and review processes. 
  • Conduct quality checks for completeness, accuracy, formatting, and contractual compliance. 
  • Validate Section 508 conformance for documentation and uploaded content. 
  • Coordinate deliverable reviews with task leads, PMO leadership, and technical owners. 
  • Maintain version control for deliverables, templates, and PMO reference materials. 
  • Assist in developing SOPs, style guides, quality checklists, and documentation standards. 
  • Support the preparation of governance packages, reports, and milestone reviews. 
  • Track documentation risks, recurring issues, and areas for process improvement. 
  • Ensure deliverables are stored, labeled, and archived according to PMO configuration management practices.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement 

Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. 

 

Education (Required) 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field. 

 

Experience (Required) 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in documentation management, quality assurance, or PMO support. 
  • Experience maintaining deliverable matrices, documentation repositories, or program reporting tools. 
  • Experience supporting federal or DoD programs with structured governance requirements. 
  • Experience ensuring documentation accuracy, quality, and compliance. 

 

Technical Knowledge (Required) 

  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements. 
  • Experience using collaboration and document management platforms. 
  • Knowledge of PMO quality standards, templates, and documentation workflows. 

Technical Knowledge (Preferred) 

  • Experience supporting Agile delivery environments. 
  • Familiarity with configuration management, version control, or documentation automation tools. 

 

Certifications 

Preferred: 

  • PMP or similar project management certification 
  • Section 508 Trusted Tester 
  • Technical writing or documentation certifications 

 

Skills 

  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 
  • High attention to detail and consistency across deliverables. 
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and deadlines. 
  • Strong collaboration skills in a distributed, remote environment.
