Overview

DecisionPoint seeks a Reporting Analyst to support program management and performance tracking for a Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise IT modernization initiative. The Reporting Analyst will ensure accurate and timely program reporting through automation, visualization, and structured data analysis to enable informed decision-making across all stakeholders. 

 

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Reporting Analyst will: 

  • Maintain and continuously update the program deliverable tracker, ensuring all contractual submissions are current, accurate, and compliant with customer deadlines. 
  • Document meeting minutes, action items, and decisions during recurring program and stakeholder meetings, distributing summaries and tracking follow-ups. 
  • Develop and support automated reporting functions that consolidate project status, risks, and milestones from multiple data sources. 
  • Create metrics dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools to communicate program health, deliverable timeliness, and performance trends. 
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to improve data integrity, formatting consistency, and accessibility of program-level information. 
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting cycles, compiling data from technical, financial, and scheduling systems. 
  • Ensure reporting alignment with the program’s Quality Management Plan (QMP) and continuous service improvement objectives. 
  • Assist in developing standardized templates, process documentation, and dashboards that streamline recurring reporting and presentation efforts. 
  • Design and manage dashboards that visualize CMA mission data, including case volume, response timeliness, workflow throughput, and program performance metrics. 
  • Coordinate closely with CMA and Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) offices to ensure that reporting products meet mission and compliance standards across all task areas. 

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement: 

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting project management or reporting functions within federal or defense programs. 

Technical Knowledge: 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or equivalent data visualization tools. 
  • Experience maintaining deliverable tracking systems and developing automated workflows using SharePoint or project management software. 
  • Familiarity with program performance metrics, data validation techniques, and dashboard automation. 
  • Knowledge of Project Management Office (PMO) processes, including reporting and quality management. 

Certifications (Preferred): 

  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification. 
  • ITIL Foundation or Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. 

Skills: 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities. 
  • Ability to analyze and visualize complex data sets for executive audiences. 
  • Proactive approach to identifying data issues and improving reporting processes.
