Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Program/Project Manager to support the ongoing maintenance, software development, operations, and management of the SBIR.gov platform to address emerging statutory, regulatory, agency, and program office needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an agile/scrum software development methodology to execute on SBIRTT approved requirements.
  • Implement SBA Product Owner’s requirements and priorities and ensure visibility of progress using the Scrum methodology, and agile software development process.
  • Lead key scrum events (Sprint Planning, daily standups, backlog review) and pre-release demo for Product Owner’s approval.
  • Coordinate with internal SBA stakeholders including the Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO)
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, approved by the Product Owner for successful development and release.
  • Provide relevant and necessary supporting documentation and evidence to facilitate annual system authorization and accreditation (A&A) processes through SBA.
  • Ability to be responsive on communications regarding deliverable status, priorities, blockers, and emerging issues and suggest resolution steps. 
  • Responsible for onboarding and offboarding of contractors.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience using tools like Atlassian Jira for managing the software development lifecycle.
  • The ability to communicate technical as well as non-technical information clearly, both orally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences

 

Desired/Preferred

  • Experience with source code management using AWS and GitHub
  • Knowledge of AWS OpenSearch, CloudWatch
  • Login.gov, GitHub
  • Knowledge of the United States Web Design System (USWDS)
  • Experience with FISMA, SSP FedRAMP, U.S. Web Design Systems
  • Demonstrated experience with the technical and conceptual environment of web development, especially with tools relevant to interface design, the creation of interactive web pages, database connections.
  • Experience with backup/disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • Experience with popular web browsers including Google Chrome, Firefox and Apple Safari
