DecisionPoint is seeking an ISSO Lead to manage ATO packages and ongoing monitoring for FCC systems. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) oversees interstate and international communications. Its Cybersecurity Support Services program is shifting to a Managed Cybersecurity Services model, which strengthens defenses, fulfills federal requirements, and safeguards critical infrastructure.
This position is on-site at FCC headquarters, located at 45 L Street NE, Washington, DC 20002.

The ISSO Lead will possess the knowledge, skills, tasks, and capabilities described in the work role Systems Security Management (OG-WRL-014) as outlined in the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Work Role Framework.
The ISSO Lead will also be able to:
• Manage the full RMF life cycle for FCC information systems.
• Coordinate ATO artifacts, SSPs, privacy documentation, and POA&Ms in the FCC eGRC tool, ensuring real-time dashboard accuracy.
• Lead annual and ad-hoc control assessments, vulnerability remediation tracking, and Lessons-Learned reporting to the CISO.
• Coordinate SORN, CMA, and TPWA-PIA updates and advise on privacy-risk mitigations.
• Drive the issue-resolution process for risk acceptances and POA&M closure, maintaining audit-ready records.
• Mentor the ISSO team and ensure Day-1 on-site coverage and COOP participation during continuity events.
• Clearance Requirement: Must have a Top-Secret clearance.
• Minimum Experience: 5+ years of related management experience in the field of information system security.
• Technical Knowledge: Expert user of FCC’s eGRC and vulnerability-management suites to maintain near-real-time ATO status and POA&M closure rates.
• Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Skills: Working knowledge of the RMF, as well as information assurance, continuous monitoring, and POA&M management, and able to perform any related functions.
