DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter to join our HR team and support our continued growth. In this role you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from job posting and candidate sourcing to screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
As a key partner to our hiring managers and business development team, you will work strategically to align recruiting efforts with project goals and pipeline opportunities. You’ll help shape the candidate experience and promote our employer brand across digital platforms, industry events, and networking opportunities. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and passionate about connecting people with meaningful career opportunities—especially within the fast-paced world of federal contracting and technical roles.
This position is on a hybrid telecommute model in Reston, VA.
Identify and source high-quality candidates through diverse channels including job boards, professional networks, social media, referrals, and recruiting events.
Evaluate resumes with a keen eye for specialized technical skills, certifications, and experience that align with role requirements and client needs.
Conduct pre-screening calls and initial assessments to evaluate candidate capabilities, interest level, and cultural fit.
Manage and facilitate candidate interviews, using a variety of methods including structured, behavioral, and technical evaluations.
Collaborate with department leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, project timelines, and future workforce planning.
Participate in and represent the company at recruiting events, career fairs, and networking functions to expand the candidate pipeline.
Compose and send job offers through iCIMS, ensuring details are accurate and aligned.
Support Business Development efforts by contributing to proposal staffing plans, reviewing labor categories, and aligning recruiting strategies with pipeline opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; additional years of relevant recruiting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a Technical Recruiter in a fast-paced or technical environment.
Skilled in conducting a variety of interview formats (phone, video, in-person).
Solid technical knowledge with the ability to interpret and communicate complex job needs.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS strongly preferred) and resume databases.
Proficient in modern sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and talent mapping.
Comfortable supporting remote recruiting efforts across geographically dispersed teams.
Experience recruiting for cleared roles (Secret, Top Secret, etc.) and within federal contracting environments.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.
