Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an Information Security Lead for the MODES III contract, providing full-spectrum cybersecurity support to MC&FP’s AWS GovCloud-based IT enterprise. This role ensures compliance with RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST SP 800-53, and other applicable DoD security mandates. 

This is a remote position with some on-site support required in Alexandria, VA. A favorably adjudicated Tier 5 background investigation (Top Secret clearance) is required. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the cybersecurity program for MC&FP, including Zero Trust implementation, RMF lifecycle activities, ATO maintenance, and continuous monitoring. 
  • Oversee compliance with DoD, DISA, and Cyber Command guidance and directives. 
  • Manage security architecture, incident response, vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence, and configuration management (CM). 
  • Implement cybersecurity metrics and KPIs aligned with NIST SP 800-55. 
  • Coordinate with inter-agency CSSPs and lead reporting on cybersecurity workforce certifications per DoD 8140.01/02/03. 
  • Provide security input on Agile DevSecOps processes, cloud deployments, and mobile app development. 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • U.S. Citizen with a favorably adjudicated Tier 5 background investigation (Top Secret clearance). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or related discipline. 
  • 8+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience in a federal or DoD environment. 
  • In-depth knowledge of RMF, DISA STIGs, DoD 8140 compliance, and cloud security. 
  • Hands-on experience supporting cybersecurity for AWS GovCloud deployments. 

Desired: 

  • CISSP, CISM, or DoD 8140-compliant certification. 
  • Experience working on programs delivering PII, Privacy Act data, or CUI protections at scale.
