Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an Outreach & Engagement Task Lead to support the MODES III contract for the Office of the DASD for MC&FP. This role will lead a comprehensive outreach, communications, and content development program designed to improve awareness and access to services supporting military families. 

This is a remote role with travel and occasional onsite work in Alexandria, VA. A favorably adjudicated Tier 5 background investigation (Top Secret clearance) is required. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of O&E efforts, including stakeholder affairs, strategic communications, content and creative services, digital strategy, and public engagement. 
  • Oversee the design and implementation of integrated communications plans and user-centered content marketing campaigns. 
  • Direct day-to-day operations of media monitoring, analytics, social listening, and outreach performance reporting. 
  • Collaborate with MC&FP stakeholders to craft high-impact, data-informed messaging aligned with strategic goals. 
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). 
  • Supervise a cross-functional team of writers, designers, digital strategists, and analytics staff. 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • U.S. Citizen with a favorably adjudicated Tier 5 background investigation (Top Secret clearance). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, marketing, or related discipline. 
  • 6+ years leading government outreach or communications programs. 
  • Experience with media analytics, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications in a federal setting. 
  • Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG standards and digital engagement best practices. 
  • Strong writing, messaging, team leadership, and collaboration skills. 

Desired: 

  • Experience supporting DoD quality-of-life initiatives or military community engagement. 
  • Knowledge of performance measurement for O&E programs.
