DecisionPoint is seeking a forward-leaning Senior Solutions Architect to drive innovative, solutions across our corporate growth and delivery teams. This role bridges strategy and execution—designing, documenting, and championing architectures that strengthen our competitive advantage and accelerate client impact. You will lead technical solutioning throughout the capture and proposal lifecycle, with a focus on developing differentiated, high-impact technical solutions for complex mission and enterprise challenges. Your work will directly inform win strategies, ensure technical integrity, and advance DecisionPoint’s strategic growth objectives.

 

This position requires a minimum of 2-3 days a week of onsite at our Reston Office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and document scalable, modular, and cost-effective enterprise solutions for client programs and pursuits.
  • Apply AI/ML and advanced analytics to optimize solution design, delivery, and mission outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of technical solutions for government proposals, engineering integrated solutions across domains such as AI/ML, cloud, cybersecurity, digital modernization, networks, and enterprise IT.
  • Lead technical solutioning workshops and architecture reviews.
  • Collaborate with proposal teams to craft compelling, technically sound responses that address government requirements, enhance mission capabilities, and demonstrate clear value to federal clients.
  • Author and contribute to technical volumes, concept of operations (CONOPS), and solution blueprints.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools to accelerate proposal development and ensure competitive differentiation.
  • Research emerging technologies and trends to infuse innovation into pursuit strategies.
  • Partner with growth and delivery leaders to shape go-to-market offerings and reusable solution frameworks.
  • Evangelize AI as a force multiplier across business development and solution design processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Business Development, Capture, and Proposal Teams, and SMEs to drive solution strategy.
  • Engage with partners, OEMs, and technology providers to enhance solution capabilities and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, solution engineering, or systems design roles.
  • Proven success in leading solution development for large-scale Federal/Defense pursuits.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), cybersecurity frameworks, data engineering, and enterprise IT.
  • Experience architecting solutions aligned with ITIL, DoD RMF, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, and Agile delivery.
  • Expertise in developing proposal technical volumes and supporting business development.
  • Progressive technical leadership including supporting cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, digital transformation, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI-powered tools into existing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in proposal development and solution design processes.
  • Fluent with industry best practices in enterprise and security architecture.
  • Must be highly motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
