DecisionPoint is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to provide support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
This position is fully remote.
Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Developer supporting all task areas primarily focused on software development and maintenance of current systems.
Provide user help desk support as required.
Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
May supervise computer programmers.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of the EASEY system including the CAMPD application and ECMPS.
Will perform maintenance-related fixes and software enhancements including compliance with EPA’s web standards, security rules, and 508 accessibility standards.
Will support the entire Agile Development process, including requirements gathering, code development, contractor testing, support of EPA testing, implementation, and system documentation.
Qualifications
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in information technology, or related field with a minimum of 3-5 years experience with web application development in a cloud based environment.
.Net core, Node, React, NestJS development platforms; Quartz job scheduler, Postgres database; Atlassian suite (jira and confluence) and MS Sharepoint; Github and github actions. Cloud.gov DevSecOps, Informatica.
