DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Voice Technician to join our team on the upcoming Enterprise DISA JSP ETM Services 2.0 program.
This position is onsite in the Washington, DC area.
Install, configure, and maintain VoIP/VoSIP equipment and systems, ensuring all configurations meet JSP and DoD standards.
Troubleshoot voice communication issues and perform regular maintenance to ensure reliable service for secure and non-secure voice traffic.
Document all voice network assets, including hardware, software, and configurations, in accordance with DoD and JSP engineering standards.
Maintain accurate records in the CMDB for all voice-related network assets and ensure configurations are baselined and reported as per government requirements.
Ensure all voice systems comply with DISA’s STIG standards prior to deployment, conducting necessary testing and validation.
Support the team in meeting the enterprise network’s configuration standards, performing compliance audits as required.
Track and update warranty and licensing information for all voice communication equipment using the Unclassified Government system, ensuring all records remain current throughout the product lifecycle.
Contribute to monthly reports.
Support real-time, uninterrupted access to voice asset configurations for authorized personnel and ensure accurate integration of configuration data across systems from other services/agencies as required.
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field or equivalent with 3+ years experience; 3+ years within the DOD environment
Certifications: Telephony Certifications from Avaya, Nortel, AT&T
