Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Project Analyst to join our team on an upcoming contract supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position will play a critical role in managing VA projects with a focus on cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and risk mitigation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure alignment with VA objectives.
  • Analyze data and provide reports to support decision-making and optimize project performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of emerging technologies, including Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) 3.0, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and mobile technologies within VA’s infrastructure.
  • Provide insights into cyber architecture development, including reference architectures, risk analysis, and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure integration of security standards such as NIST, CISA, and OMB directives.
  • Contribute to the deployment of cybersecurity initiatives, including medical devices and secure mobile technologies, within VA systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and support the VA’s risk management framework.

Qualifications

  • Active or ability to obtain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in project analysis, preferably within the federal or healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as TIC 3.0, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), mobile technologies, and DEVSECOPS.
  • Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity policies, including NIST, CISA, and OMB directives.
  • Experience with data analysis, risk management, and project coordination in complex technical environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
