Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team supporting USTRANSCOM Transportation Command at Scott AFB IL

 

This is on a hybrid telecommute model requiring up to 3 days a week on Scott AFB IL.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst will:

  • Gather and document user requirements for the system - both functional and interfaces with external systems.
  • Analyze, verify, and clarify the requirements identified for each release, to include performing risk analysis.
  • Conducts research, evaluations, analyses, and studies and presents recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements.
  • Facilitate the sizing of stories during the planning sprint, backlog grooming, or sprint planning sessions for the team.
  • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with business owners, product owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
  • Manage the JIRA board.
  • Maintain risk register and escalate where needed.
  • Ensure epics and user stories, goals, milestones, risk, status, change requests and critical issues are effectively communicated to the client and project team.
  • Conduct testing and formal review of user stories to confirm acceptance and satisfaction.
  • Track and measure client satisfaction levels and make and implement recommendations.
  • Provide capabilities in a timely manner using agile and interactive software engineering methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities to migrate existing functionality to the program and incorporate these migrations into development of capabilities.
  • Creates, deploys, maintains, and refines decision models.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance
  • BA/BS in related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • CSM certification
  • US TRANSCOM experience
