DecisionPoint is seeking an experienced Maintenance - Boundary SME to join our team on an upcoming project. The successful candidate will work closely with federal staff, providing management, engineering and technical services on matters related to cybersecurity posture, and ensuring that cyberspace controls are implemented according to applicable documentation.
This position is onsite at Scott AFB, IL.
Maintain and operate network infrastructures including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance, efficiency, and security.
Respond to network issues and outages in a timely manner, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and perform repairs as needed.
Install and configure network devices and software to support mission requirements.
Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, inventory, and configuration information.
Implement and adhere to network security policies and procedures.
Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cyber defense teams to exchange cyber threat intelligence and coordinate incident response activities.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations or related filed.
Must possess an IAT Level II certification
Must have a Bachelor Degree or one of the following certifications: CEH, Cloud+, CySA+, PenTest+ or SSCP
Experience with network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Experience with boundary devices such as the Palo Alto and Cisco ASA
Technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing; such as routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Ability to develop and document network architecture diagrams
Ability to develop disaster recovery plans
Ability to conduct network performance tests
Knowledge and experience setting up and managing Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience on current Air Force Defensive Cyber Realization, Integration, and Operational Support (DCRIOS) contract highly desired.
