Overview

DecisionPoint is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer to join our team!

 

This position is onsite in Scott AFB, IL.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages that follow the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. 
  • Individuals will complete tasks required for both the initial Authorization to Operate (ATO) and the maintenance of the RMF packages in the continuous monitoring phase. 
  • Personnel will be required to perform network scans, update documentation, respond to customer requirements for network changes, update/maintain systems of records, and similar tasks required in the development and upkeep of approved networks. 
  • Personnel will also coordinate and facilitate meetings in support of the configuration management, requirements gathering, etc. of the networks. 

Qualifications

Clearance Required:  

  • TS/SCI 

 

Degree and Years of Experience: 

  • Two (2) or more years’ experience related to Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages and ISSO responsibilities 

 

Required Certifications: 

  • Must possess a current certification for either Security+ or GSEC 
  • Possess, or be willing to obtain within 6-months of start date, an additional certification related to RMF 

 

Required Skills: 

  • Experience performing compliance and vulnerability scans with ACAS 
  • Familiarization or experience with implementing STIGs across an environment 
  • Familiarization with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications (SP) 800-37 and 800-53 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint 
  • Ability to manage their schedule and workload to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision 
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with the other members 

 

Preferred Skills/ Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS 
  • Experience with the Air Force Information Technology Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS) 
  • Experience with the Air Force Management Internal Control Toolkit (MICT) 

 

Additional Requirements: 

    • Occasional travel may be required
